The clock struck the top of the hour and Jeremy put down his pencil. He looked at the result of cramming half a semester’s worth of lessons into a weekend of studying, and it wasn’t pretty.

“I should’ve used ABACADABA,” he said with a sigh.

His bubble sheet was a scramble of random answers for the first fifty questions, and a straight line for the last fifty when he realized he only had five minutes left.

As he turned his answer sheet in, he wondered how much extra credit he could ask for. He also hoped there was a curve.
